Amazon echo is a smart speaker  most popular in all smart speakers. To setup amazon echo d we need an app to connect echo dot to the WiFi  make it wk.
There are few requirements in der to use echo dot app.
1.	You must have a device echo, echo dot, echo plus  so on.
2.	Internet connection  WiFi router
3.	A smart phone  a computer
Let’s start download alexa app  setup your echo dot. There are few steps to be perfmed while setting up echo dot with help of an app.

How to Setup Alexa App  Echo Device?  Know Your Steps!
Get started with the steps f setup:
Step 1: Plugin Alexa Device
•	Plugin one end of USB cable in Echo power pt  another end in power adapter.
•	Insert your power adapter in electric socket  switch on the plug.
•	Once Echo device receives power, check f the blue light ring on device top. 
•	The light ring will change automatically to ange implying, the device has entered setup mode. 
Step 2: Download Alexa App
Android users may refer Google Play ste while iOS users can access App Ste to download Alexa App.
•	Open the ste i.e., compatible with your phone.
•	Type  Download Alexa App on your mobile device.
•	Follow onscreen instructions to complete Alexa App installation on your mobile. 
You’ll see ‘Alexa App Install complete’ message after the process finishes successfully.
Step 3: Alexa App Setup
•	Touch Alexa App icon on your mobile to launch the program.
•	Tap on ‘Choose Your Device’ dropdown box  make your choice from the list (i.e., Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Plus, Echo Spot, Echo Show, Echo Sub, Echo Input,  Tap).
Note:  You can setup one device at a time. F me than one Echo device setup, repeat the process from Step 3. 
•	After you select the device from the given options, choose your location  language. 
F instance, if you purchased your Echo Device from U.S. Amazon Account your setting will be U.S. (English).
Step 4: Connect to WiFi Netwk
•	Tap on CONTINUE button on mobile  press ‘Connect to WiFi’ button on next page.
•	In most s, your Echo device automatically connects to Alexa App.
•	However, if the Echo device is not added automatically to Alexa App complete the process manually.
•	F this, navigate to mobile WiFi settings.
•	Turn on WiFi  under available list of netwks; choose the netwk name with fmat “AmazonXXX.”
Note: If you can’t see any such netwk name then, refresh your list  wait f a while. 
Step 5: Complete Alexa Setup
•	Now, go back to Alexa App  click on ‘Next’> ‘Continue’ >’Continue’ button  wait f the Alexa App setup to finish.
Note: F any problem connecting your device to WiFi, check your Internet connection  router device. 
•	Now, check f the list of wireless netwk available on your mobile. 
•	Tap on the wireless netwk you want to connect it with. 
Note: Please make sure that your wireless netwk is a dualb having frequency 2.4 GHz to 5.0 GHz. Otherwise; you may face issues while setting up Alexa App. 
Step 6: Talk to Alexa 
By default the wake wd f your Echo device is Alexa. However, you may change  access ‘Computer’  ‘Echo’ also, as the wake wds.
•	Use ‘Alexa’ as Echo’s default wake wd (if not changed).
•	Your Device will respond to all comms that you perfm.
•	To check if your Alexa is wking  not say one of the following lines
“Alexa, what time is it?”
“Alexa, what restaurants are nearby?”
Note: Ask Alexa all kind of questions you want. But one at a Time!
                                

Alexa App Setup and Guide插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Alexa App Setup and GuideChrome插件v1.1.5版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
