Cookie Keeper插件描述

Cookie Keeper is a small utility that deletes cookies from domains that you dont want. To use the extension, open the options page  add new domains to the "rules" page f cookies you want to keep. Cookies f domains that are not included on the "rules" page will be deleted when you manually click on the trash icon inside the options page  if you enabled the automatic option to delete cookies.

The extension is useful to keep you signed into sites you frequent while also deleting tracking cookies  other useless cookies from your browser. 


## Accessing the Extension
To access the options page, click on the Cookie Keeper icon on your navigation bar, a menu will appear with the link to "Options." Another method is to visit chrome://extensions  click on the small "options" link under the Cookie Keeper extension.


## Adding Rules
You will want to create a new rule f each domain that has cookies you want to keep. Add a rule by opening the options page  on the "Rules" page enter the domain in the fm. Cookies will not be deleted f the domain you enter  all of its subdomains. F instance, if you enter "example.com", cookies from "www.example.com"  "sample.example.com" will not be deleted. This also applies to subdomains but doesnt wk in reverse.

You can also add rules by visiting the "Cookies" tab inside of the options window  pressing the "+" button next to the domain you want to add.


## Deleting Cookies by Domain
Cookie Keeper also gives you a quick way to delete cookies from specific domain names. Visit the "Cookies" page  scroll down  search (Ctrl + F) f the domain you want to delete cookies from. Click on the "X" button next to the listing to delete cookies f that specific domain.


## Required Permissions
When installing our extension, Chrome alerts you that this extension can access all sites  their data. This is required to delete  read cookies from every website. Our extension doesnt inject code into any website  doesnt track what websites you visit. We only use this permission to get a list of all of the cookies sted on your device  then delete them.

Chrome may also show that we require Stage  Browser Data permissions. The stage permission is used to save settings  rules that you have defined. The Browser Data permission is used when you enable the option to delete additional browser data.

If you enable the automatic delete notification option, the extension will request permission to display notifications. We will only display notifications when we are automatically deleting cookies. This permission will be revoked if you disable the feature.
                                

Cookie Keeper插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Cookie KeeperChrome插件v0.2.4版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
