Tired of having to wait f a notification every time you want to join a Zoom class? Frustrated because you cant log in to NYU when your phone’s out of battery? So are we. That’s why we made Easy DUO.

With Easy DUO, you can log in to NYU using just your browser. Whenever you want to log in, Easy DUO will generate a sixdigit passcode that you can quickly paste into the MultiFact Authentication. No need to wait f a notification on your phone!

Easy DUO is easier  faster than Duo Mobile, without sacrificing any security.



OneTime Setup:
1. Log in to NYU (if you’ve already logged in during the last 24 hours, you can go to start.nyu.edu).
2. At the MultiFact Authentication page, click "Add a new device" on the left side of the screen. When prompted, log in through Duo as usual.
3. Select “Tablet,”  then select “iOS” on the next page.
4. Click “I have Duo Mobile installed,”  then ”Email me an activation link instead.”
5. In your email, click on the activation link  paste the popups URL (not the activation code) into Easy DUOs input bar. Click “Activate Easy DUO!”

Voilà! Now you can generate passcodes whenever you need!



Who are we? We’re just a group of NYU students who wanted to make MultiFact Authentication easier. We don’t make any money from this.

Like you, we value privacy. Easy DUO does not collect any user data. We cannot  will not steal, sell,  use your personal infmation. All Easy DUO does is generate passcodes f you. You can always opt out of Easy DUO at any time.

Easy DUO插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Easy DUOChrome插件v0.0.1.7版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
