What is an Ad Blocker  why do you need it?

AdBusters is an Ad blocker that, as the name suggests, is supposed to block ads in your browser. This is because, as anyone whos ever used the internet will know, any new window popping up  any ad sliding into your browser is annoying. Often really annoying. Nowadays unnecessary ads constantly bother users, restricting their access to peaceful web browsing. 
But one of the main reasons to use an Ad Blocker is the security while browsing. Because hacked Adservers are often attacking the client (browser of the user) through unfixed bugs  then they try to gain access to the computer / private data. When you block ads befe the site is rendered you block the malicious Adservers. That’s why Adblocking is not just me peaceful browsing, it makes browsing much safer.
What could be me annoying than having to constantly tackle popups while trying to read an article,  having to watch pointless ads befe finally being able to watch your preferred video on Youtube? Luckily, you dont have to answer this question because the internet advertising industry is way ahead of you. This is an industry dedicated to destroying your user experience, sometimes creating mazes of windows opening within other windows, making it allbut impossible f you to see the window you actually want. You may even end up downloading a file  app you dont want. This isnt just an irritation, this can include malware  other malicious software. Ads in apps  browsers can only really be accurately described as the scourge of the internet.

How does this wk?

The AdOMeter service gathers data on the number of adverts on each URL, which fms the basis f the index. This data is then integrated back into the google search results. This means that the me people use AdBusters, the better  me accurate the data f the AdOMeter is set to become. Our aim is that, eventually, people will be able to deactivate the actual adblocker part of the plugin, thereby avoiding antiadblockers   still benefit from the AdOMeter.

AdBusters - AdBlocker plus AdMeter插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 AdBusters - AdBlocker plus AdMeterChrome插件v1.1.6版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
