Q: How can I add my own links  images?
A: Unlock the grid, then click on an empty tile. This will open the Tile Edit which is fairly straight fward.

Q: How can I hide the search bar at the top?
A: Go to Settings (cog wheel on the left)  set the search bar option to "Off".

Q: What is Sphere?
A: Sphere is a personalized content discovery experience, recommending interesting content from around the web, tailed to your interests. You can add Sphere to your Awesome New Tab Page by dragging one of the available Sphere widgets out of the Widgets window onto your dashboard.

Q: Can I remove the stock widgets from the home screen?
A: Of course! Unlock the grid, then press the "X" icon when you mouse over any tile you wish to delete. Be sure to click the red padlock to lock the page again so you can click your tiles.

Q: Can I uninstall apps with this extension?
A: Yep! Ensure your dashboard is locked (the padlock should be white/grey), open the Apps window, then click Uninstall. A confirmation will appear.

Q: Can I uninstall stock apps  widgets?
A: No, theyre bundled in this extension  can not be removed without removing this extension. You can remove them from your home screen, of course. Theyre also listed last in the apps  widgets windows.

Q: Can I change the background col?
A: Yes, click the cog wheel in the top left. Click the Background Col button to open a col picker that will allow you to select any col you desire.

Q: How is this extension different than Speed Dial, Speed Dial 2,  other new tab page ( start page) extensions?
A: In essence: Speed Dial  Speed Dial 2 have no widgets  isnt as customizable  powerful as Awesome New Tab Page. Other startpage extensions dont offer this  any similar functionality. However, dont take my wd f it; compare f yourself!

Q: How do I remove this extension  go back to the default Google Chrome new tab page?
A: In the top right cner, click the Wrench Icon. Go to Tools > Extensions. Find this extension  remove it. Be sure to also remove any widgets you installed.

Q: This is a lot like iGoogle. How is it different?
A: iGoogle is a Google product that, just like ANTP, lets other developers create widgets that are added to your homepage. However, unlike iGoogle, Awesome New Tab Page is also optimized me f visual appeal  function. iGoogle is also being discontinued by Google.

Awesome New Tab Page插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Awesome New Tab PageChrome插件v2020.442.69版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
