ColPick needs permission on all websites so that it is at the ready when you need it.  In der to use the tabs API this permission is required.  Col pick does not abuse this permission  is highly configurable.  You can always review the source code yourself, which is available online here https://github.com/qufighter/ColPick PRs welcome!

Please note that cols are picked from a snapshot of the page that is updated only when you scroll.  To take a new snapshot press r  use the resnap button.  Sometimes if you just changed tabs, you may see a snapshot err  this is an intentional security feature.  Press R  scroll to crect this,  exit col pick  try again.

As with most extensions of this nature, it will not wk out of the box on the web ste,  on file:// pages.  It will wk on local file pages only after you "Allow access to file URLs" from the tools>extensions manager.

If you experience an issue, try the following:
  Try a new website in a different tab  see if it wks there
  Try the same website in a new tab  see if that wks
  Reloading the extension  tab may sometimes be needed

If you need to operate on unsuppted pages try the desktop app version (mac+pc) at colpick.com  if you are selecting cols from screenshots, images  photos try the mobile phone/tablet app f IOS  Android  search the ste f "ColPick" (which also includes col based mini games).

If youre looking f a quick  easy to use col eye dropper with zoomed dragable preview f fine tuning youve come to the right place.  If you experience any bugs PLEASE rept them using the feedback button, I want to fix them if they can be fixed.

It has been repted that it may take a few tries befe it starts wking initially.  You may have to refresh the page  reload the extension.  I have personally experienced bugs where mousemove event does not fire, etc, but then when I switch out of chrome  back, it starts wking.  There is little that can be done to fix this except be patient  try again.

Keep in mind that your displays col space matters  if it  chrome is not set to sRGB ( restarted chrome) then some cols set to one value will pick as a different value (as if from a screenshot, which in some s can have a similar effect).

Col Pick attempts to use lossless PNG quality to detect cols.  If you experience bugs  distted snapshot of the page disable this feature to use JPEG quality.

If your business is using this extension  the desktop app than you should urge them to purchase the appropriate license.

This program is a Col Picker,  an Eye Dropper, also a ColPicker  EyeDroper depending on how you wish to spell it.  It also contains webpage region magnification/zoom loupe features.  Zoom features may help you to see pixel perfect alignment accuracy during web development adjustments. This extension may someday be suppted by URL rewriting affiliate links.  This may be disabled from options  is disabled by default.  When you uninstall this extension you may be asked to complete a survey  you can disable this survey from options.
                                

ColorPick Eyedropper插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 ColorPick EyedropperChrome插件v0.0.2.37版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
