Context Menu Search插件描述

This extension can be used to search f selected text using the context menu. Different search engines can be added accding to the users wish to the rightclick menu.
The search results are shown in a new tab which can either be a focussed tab  a background tab depending on the options set by the user. The location of the newly opened tab can also be set by the user to be either next to the current tab  the last tab.
The der of the search engines in the rightclick menu can also be arranged. A list of 40 commonly used search engines has been added so that users can choose easily. If needed, the user can also add an option which has not been included.

You need at least Chrome version 6.0.472 to install  use this extension. If needed you can install from any channel you want here: http://goo.gl/4fHh

Known issues:

1.  The extension icon reverts back from the magnifying glass to default Chrome extension icon sometimes. Disabling  enabling the extension again should bring it back. This is perhaps an issue with chrome.contextMenus.removeAll() method.
2.  Favicons f search engines cannot be displayed in context menu currently as the contextMenus API does not allow it.
3.  Taking settings from omnibar search configuration is not possible.

1.0:  Users can now add as many search engines to the right click menu as they want. An existing option can now be disabled  deleted if not required.
0.9:  Added the ability f enabling/disabling particular search engines. Users can also customize which search engines they want  what the name of the search engine in the list should be.

Context Menu Search插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Context Menu SearchChrome插件v2.93版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
