Jailbreak the Patriarchy genderswaps the wld f you. When its installed, everything you read in Chrome (except f gmail, so far) loads with pronouns  a reasonably though set of other gendered wds swapped. F example: "he loved his mother very much" would read as "she loved her father very much", "the patriarchy also hurts men" would read as "the matriarchy also hurts women", that st of thing. 

This makes reading stuff on the internet a pretty fascinating  eyeopening experience, I must say. What would the wld be like if we reversed the way we speak about women  men? Well, now you can find out!

Running this extension will not trap you outside the asylum. When you install Jailbreak the Patriarchy, youll see that theres a new button in the top right cner of your browser. When you click that button, it basically toggles the patriarchy. If Jailbreak the Patriarchy is active when you click, it pauses the extension  reloads your current tab back into reality. If the extension is already paused when you click the button, it unpauses the extension  reloads your current tab back into genderswappedl. 

Its easy to tell when the extension is paused, because the button in the browser will get a big red OFF tag.

Just to be clear, only your current tab will reload automatically, but the pause/unpause is browserwide  persists until you toggle the button again.

UPDATE: As of version 1.0.2, you can go into your extensions  click on Options near Jailbreak if you want to set Jailbreak to turn itself on  off romly once per day. This will only happen if you go out of your way to turn that option on  by default, you are in complete control  Jailbreak will never turn on unless you click the button. But f those of you who want me rom confusion in your lives, the option is now there!

Jailbreak the Patriarchy插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Jailbreak the PatriarchyChrome插件v1.0.3版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
