This extension is a manager f your MOOCs. It aims to help you set goals f the MOOCs youre enrolled at, ganize your time, as well as fostering selfreflection on perfmance. This may help the selfregulation of the learners (SRL).
Now, MOOCnager focuses on the MOOCs on Java programming offered by the Universidad Carlos III. We hope you find it useful. Enjoy it!

Esta extensión es un manager para tus MOOCs. Tiene como objetivo ayudarle a establecer objetivos y ganizar su tiempo, así como fomentar la autreflexión sobre el rendimiento. Esto puede ayudar a la autregulación (SRL) de los participantes.

 DECLARATION OF INFORMATION FOR THE PARTICIPANT 
(1) What is the study about?
The study focuses on the research  development of technological tools that suppt selfregulation learning strategies f students who enroll in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). This research wk aims to underst students capacity f selfregulation  to check whether their objectives are realistic  met. That way, well be able to detect possible weak points  problems  try to solve them.
MOOCnager is a plugin that is being developed to suppt selfregulating learning strategies of MOOC participants through different elements. The student can specify which courses he is enrolled in  set goals f each of them. In addition, he can improve the time management skills by depicting his objectives in a calendar, focused on improving planning. On the other h, the participant will be able to assess his  her attitude  level of perfmance to foster selfevaluation. Finally, the user may receive a weekly email with a rept of his  her perfmance in the course, if he  she provides a crect username  an email address (i.e. the same ones used in his edX account). This rept will include different views with the data provided by the edX platfm. F this purpose, the data from the edX MOOCs indicated in the application will be related to the data collected by the application.
MOOCnager is a plugin designed f Google Chrome Browser. It is focused on the MOOCs on programming in Java offered by the Universidad Carlos III, in its Spanish  English versions. This plugin recds student infmation regarding the courses where the user is registered, the set objectives  the students selfassessment. In addition, the users registration infmation is sted as well as the IP address from which he  she first connects.
In this testing stage, the usability  usefulness of the tool are evaluated, to detect any possible inconveniences that may make it difficult f students to use the plugin. In addition, the aim is to evaluate the usefulness of the infmation contained in the different visualisations available.

(2) Who will know  have access to the results?
Only the research team at the Universidad Carlos III focused on learning in virtual environments  its analysis, will be able to access the collected data. Third parties, including edX, will not have access to them. The results collected are confidential  f research purposes only. No infmation will be disclosed to identify the participants who use the tool to suppt the respective courses. In  of inclusion in any scientific publication, the data will be aggregated  anonymised. 

(3) What should I do if I have complaints, doubts, need me infmation  want my data deleted?

 DECLARACIÓN DE INFORMACIÓN PARA EL PARTICIPANTE 
(1) ¿De qué se trata el estudio?
El estudio se centra en la investigación y desarrollo de herramientas tecnológicas que apoyen las estrategias de autregulación del aprendizaje de los estudiantes escogen matricularse en Cursos Masivos Abiertos en Línea (MOOCs). Este trabajo de investigación pretende entender la capacidad de autregulación de los estudiantes y comprobar si sus objetivos son realistas y se cumplen. Así, podremos detectar los posibles puntos débiles o problemas e intentar solucionarlos.
MOOCnager es un plugin que está siendo desarrollado para apoyar las estrategias de autregulación del aprendizaje de los participantes en MOOCs mediante diferentes elementos. El estudiante puede indicar en qué cursos está matriculado y definir objetivos para cada uno de ellos. Además, podrá mejar la gestión del tiempo mediante la visualización de sus objetivos en un calendario, enfocada a mejar la planificación. P otra parte, el participante podrá valar su actitud y nivel de desempeño para facilitar la autoevaluación. Finalmente, el usuario puede llegar a recibir un creo semanal con un infme de su desempeño en el curso, si indica un nombre de usuario y un creo crectos (es decir, los mismos que en su cuenta de edX). Este infme incluirá diferentes visualizaciones con los datos propcionados p la platafma edX. Para esto, se relacionarán los datos de los MOOCs de edX indicados en la aplicación con los recogidos p ésta.
MOOCnager es un plugin diseñado para el navegad de Google Chrome. Está enfocado hacia los MOOCs de programación Java ofrecidos p la Universidad Carlos III, en sus versiones en español e inglés. Este plugin registra infmación de los estudiantes en relación con los cursos donde el usuario está registrado, los objetivos definidos y la autoevaluación del estudiante. Además, se almacena la infmación de registro del usuario al igual que la dirección IP desde la que se conecta p primera vez.
En esta etapa de prueba de la herramienta, se evalúa su usabilidad y utilidad, con el fin de detectar posibles inconvenientes que puedan dificultar el uso del plugin p parte de los estudiantes. Además, se busca evaluar la utilidad de la infmación contenida en las diferentes visualizaciones disponibles.

(2) ¿Quiénes conocerán y tendrán acceso a los resultados?
Sólo podrá tener acceso a los datos recogidos el equipo investigad de la Universidad Carlos III dedicado al aprendizaje en entnos virtuales y su analítica. Terceros, incluido edX, no tendrán acceso a los mismos. Los resultados recolectados son de carácter confidencial y tienen únicamente propósitos de investigación. No se revelará ninguna infmación que permita identificar a los participantes que utilizan la herramienta como como apoyo a los respectivos los cursos. En caso de incluirse en alguna publicación científica, los datos serán agregados y anonimizados. 

 (3) ¿Qué debo hacer si tengo quejas, dudas, necesito más infmación o quiero que mis datos sean eliminados?

MOOCnager插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 MOOCnagerChrome插件v0.1.0版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
