TerraCare is still in development  will only wk on Amazon web pages f the time being.

TERRACARE ACHIEVEMENTS:
1st Place in IBMs 2020 CFC University Spot Challenge f Climate Change | Energy Sustainability.

OUR GOALS:
 Help users underst how damaging some products are f the planet.
 Simplify energy consumption infmation on online products.
 Suggest alternative  me energy efficient products.
 Create a netwk with smaller  local, ecoaware businesses.
 Provide insights about savings derived from me power efficient appliances  behaviours.
 Provide a scing system

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The plugin itself would only activate when browsing on an online product page. When visiting these pages, you will be prompted with a clear  simplified overview of the main energy infmation  a lists of less impactful alternative products.

Thanks to IBM Watson our extension will be capable of defining the best product alternatives. Looking at similar products, with a smaller carbon footprint  impact, using infmation such as production location  energy consumptions rate.

HOW DO WE SIMPLIFY?
TerraCare would grab the energy infmation on products  display it in ways easier to read by providing:

 Energy bill prices compared to me energy efficient products energy bill prices
 The products energy consumption in fmats easier to comprehend
 Scing system to show how much the user is helping the planet (TerraSce)

TerraPoints can be converted to obtain discounts  coupons to be used to buy sustainable products from ecoaware companies.

SUMMARY:
One shoppers carbon footprint may not have much of an impact on the Planet, but millions can.

We believe that energy infmation is not being simplified as much as it should be contributing largely to global warming  environment pollution. We also believe in a lack of awareness about individual environment footprints  impact, which directly leads to the stasis of action on a personal basis.

TerraCare has the potential to be a large cog f a solution towards this problem, helping encouraging  enticing Users to be me energy efficient by educating  rewarding them.

TerraCare插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 TerraCareChrome插件v1.0.0版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
