Description

Does your computer get cluttered with tabs you dont want to close  possibly lose? I know mine does! Throwback is a simple 2click tool to save  retrieve any browsing session you might want. Wking on a research paper tonight? Go ahead  save your tabs so that you can close out of them  return to them later! 


How To Use the Extension

After installing the Throwback extension, an icon will appear on the top right of the Google Chrome window located next to other extension icons. To begin using the service, simply click on the icon, which will display a popup. On the popup, youll see a row asking you to create a new session, clicking the add new button will allow you to create a new entry f which you can save your tabs. Go ahead  give it a title, f example "English Paper Research"  click enter. You should see a new row load on the popup with three buttons, these buttons are (left to right) save, open,  delete. Clicking save will currently ste all the tabs you currently have open in your current window. Clicking open will open whatever tabs are saved f that session. Clicking delete will remove those tabs from memy  delete the row. If you want to delete all your sessions at once, then you can click the button on the right of the create a new session button in the top row.


Options Page

Currently, the options page doesnt make sense in the context of the extension. I apologize f this, I realized I left it in from my tutial on learning the process of developing an extension in the first place. I do intend on changing this f the next update, so if you happen to see  try the extension any suggestions would be appreciated.


About the Extension/Developer

I just want to put in the description  make clear that currently, this Google Chrome extension is me of a personal project that I am undergoing to learn me about the process of developing  publish an extension. Right now, I intend to wk on it as such,  dont have plans on monetizing any aspect about it, adding advertisements,  etc. This is subject to change at any time, but I currently dont have plans to do so. As far as the textures I am currently using, many of these icons are pictures I found online from free  fair use sites, therefe I am under the impression as directed by those sites that I should have no problem using them, Ill still say that any rightful ownership goes to the rightful owners.

Throwback插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 ThrowbackChrome插件v0.1.1版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
