1000 hp Power All Wheel Drive, SF90 Stradale The car of many ‘firsts’

Ferrari has finally introduced the SF90 Stradale, its first plugin hybrid model. Winning the title of the most powerful Ferrari ever with 1000 hp, the Stradale is not just a V12; The V8 is powered by the engine.

Referring to the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari, the SF90 Stradale is powered by a turbo V8  three electric mots. While the most powerful eightcylinder engine in the histy of the br produces 780 hp, electrical power complements the remaining 220 hp. The MGUK (Engine Generat Unit – Kinetic) used in Fmula 1 cars is positioned  the V8  the new 8speed dualclutch transmission  powers the rear axle with the V8. The other two electric mots drive the front axle.

As you can see, the SF90 Stradale represents a first with fourwheel drive as well as a hybrid layout. Thanks to this, the acceleration perfmance was kept very strong: 0100 km / h 2.5; 0200 km / h takes 6.7 seconds. The maximum speed value is 340 km / h.

It has a kind of tque steering feature called RACe on the electrically driven front axle. Two electric mots will be able to transfer the necessary power to the tire needed in the cner.

Hybrid technology increases the weight significantly. To compensate f this, the chassis  bodywk are equipped with lighter materials to save money. The highpower mot, on the other h, requires me heat rejection. F this reason, Ferrari has included a slot in the body that can provide ample heat output. There are also serious breakthroughs in aerodynamics. Thanks to details such as the new Gurney hatch  active rear aero, drag is reduced at high speeds; Increased downfce during cnering  braking.
