History Button插件描述

This is just a shtcut to Chrome histy page. 

When installed, it will add "Histy" button to your browsers toolbar. 

Click the icon  youll open the "histy" page. Thats all this "extension" does. 

There are some options available: you can set the button to open the histy page in new tab  in the current tab , if you want, you can add it to the context menu.

**Questions & Answers**

Why adding separate extension to access histy when it’s accessible with two clicks from the menu?
 Because with the histy button in the toolbar you’ll do it in one click, which is 50% faster :)

But extensions eat system memy, why wasting resources just f quick shtcut to the histy?
 The histy button doesn’t “eat” memy. In technical terms, it uses nonpersistent background page, which means chrome doesn’t need to reserve memy f the histy extension (check the Chrome Task Manager if you don’t trust us  when you click on the histy icon it will start the extension, open the histy page  release the memy right after that)

Why not just use a bookmark to the histy page instead of installing separate extension?
 You could, but you’ll need me clicks to access the histy bookmark from the menu  you’ll need to have the bookmarks bar open. F people like me the bookmarks bar is not a good choice (it takes from the vertical space of the browser)  one small histy button in the toolbar is me convinient.

If I install the histy button, is it easy to remove the extension later?
 Yes, you can remove it with literally two clicks (just rightclick on the histy button  select “Remove from Chrome”)

How to access the Histy Button options?
 Rightclick on the histy icon  select “Options”. 

How to open the histy page in the current tab instead of opening new tab?
 Rightclick on the histy button  select “Options”, then uncheck the first checkbox

How to add shtcut to histy to the context menu?
 Go to the options page (see above)  check the respective checkbox (“Add histy button to context menu”)

How to change the histy icon?
 Currently you can’t, but in the next version (coming soon) we’ll add this functionality

Is it possible to add the histy button to chrome apps page?

History Button插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 History ButtonChrome插件v2.4.0.0版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
