With My Office Tools you get a new tab extension that provides you with:
Links to the most Office tools.
Quicklinks to shopping  commonly used social sites.
Convenient web search powered by Yahoo!

My Office Tools will also prompt you daily with access to the file converters as well as personalized weather fecasts to get your day started.

You can also use the settings widget at the bottom right of the new tab page to adjust your personal experience.

Click "Add To Chrome" above to get started f free from your browsers new tab.

Our extension only uses the minimum permissions required.

Reason: "This allows our extension to wk properly. We only request access to the website our extension runs on."
"Replace the page you see when opening a new tab"
Reason: "This means you are installing our new tab extension. Every time you open your Chrome browser you will see our website  all of its useful features."
"Read your browsing histy"
Permission: "Tabs"
Reason: "We use tabs to ensure we can offer you additional optional products. It also allows us to give you access to your daily feature  other useful tools. We do not ste  transmit any of your browsing histy."
"Manage your apps, extensions,  themes"
Permission: "Management"
Reason: "This is used to see what other extensions are added along side us. We perfm analysis to identify if any of these extensions are not behaving  are preventing you from using your features."

Permission: "Cookies"
Reason: "Cookies are used to ensure you get the right user experience when you install our extension. Our extension only grabs the cookies we set on our pages."
Permission: "Alarms"
Reason: "This is to control the timing of daily feature ensuring you get access to helpful links as well as a personalized weather fecast. We use alarms to make sure you dont receive daily feature me than you should."
Permission: "Stage"
Reason: "Used to save technical infmation locally on the extension to ensure you see the right content."
Permission: "contextMenus"
Reason: "This allows us to show you the "About" page in our browseraction."
                                

My Office Tools插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 My Office ToolsChrome插件v1.1版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
