Open in PDF Viewer插件描述

Open in PDF Viewer is a simple  very lite addon that allows you to easily open desired PDF links in a chosen PDF viewer.

Note 1: after installing the addon, you need to connect it with native applications (i.e. adobe acrobat reader) on your machine. In der to make this connection, a separate patch is provided in GitHub. Please download  install this patch from: https://github.com/alexmarcoo/openinnativeclient/releases

Follow the instructions in the above GitHub page to download  install the related patch to your system. After installing, the "Open in PDF Viewer" addon in your browser can communicate with PDF viewer on your machine (Window, Linux  Mac).

Default option f the PDF viewer is adobe acrobat reader. In windows 10, the default location f Adobe Acrobat is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe". If you have a different OS,  if you installed Adobe Acrobat in a different folder, please adjust the field accdingly. You can change this from the options page.

There is also an input field which you can add arguments f the viewer. F example, to open PDF as fullscreen  without toolbar. Please note that, if you change the PDF viewer make sure to change the input arguments as well. Each PDF viewer has its own arguments to operate. If you keep Adobe as the default PDF viewer, please visit this page (http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/pdf_open_parameters.pdf) to get me info about input arguments.

In der to operate with this addon, please rightclick on any link (a link to a PDF document)  then click on  Open  Download with PDF Viewer  item from the contextmenu. The PDF file will first be "downloaded"  then "opened" in a default PDF viewer (the one which is set in the options page). Please note that, the PDF file will be downloaded in the "default" download folder in your machine.

Note 2: befe using the addon, please open the options page  make sure the path to the PDF viewer is crect based on your Operating System.

Open in PDF Viewer插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Open in PDF ViewerChrome插件v0.1.3版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
