How to use


1. Every time you open a New Tab on Chrome, you’ll see your browsing stats

2. Use the Button "Add Browsing Alert" f website(s) you think are unproductive f you, where you end up spending me time than you want  need. Few ex. are Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, etc. When you cross the daily usage limit of the website(s) you declared unproductive, Rooster nudges you via Push Notifications. 3. Keep tab of your total online wking hours via the Total Time Logged capsule f the day.

Q. Why Push Notifications?
A. We believe that blocking websites doesn’t wk. Mostly because it’s a habit that we’re fighting against. We cannot change habits in a single day / week / month. It takes time to fm a new habit  a lot me to break one. 

Habits are not changed by stopping / blocking what you’re currently addicted to doing. Instead, what has wked f many, is slowly doing different things on top of what theyre already habituated to do. That’s what we want to accomplish with Rooster. And that’s why we are giving the option to nudge yourself via Push Notifications rather than blocking websites altogether.

Q. What about my Privacy?
A. As mentioned above, we save your data locally  we dont have access to your data at all. So theres no way f us to sell  use your data in any fm. And even if we change the productmechanism in future, well notify you first. Thats our promise!

Rooster for Chrome™插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Rooster for Chrome™Chrome插件v2.0.0版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
