Save Webpage As Word Document插件描述

This extension converts complete web page  selected part of it into Microsoft Wd Document (docx). You can also choose to convert content from multiple web pages  only selected part of them into a single wd document. The converted document can be downloaded to local disk. 

This extension reads the HTML structure of the current page  the selected part  converts it into cresponding docx structure.


LIMITATIONS :

1. INSTALL / UPDATE
    After installing  updating, this extension will not wk f tabs which were open pri to installation/update unless those tabs are reloaded  chrome is restarted.

2. WHAT CAN I CONVERT?
    This extension can convert any web page into Microsoft wd document except following pages 
   
   All the Chrome Web Ste pages (including this one).
   Urls starting with chrome:// f ex. chrome://extensions
   Urls starting with chromeextension://

3. SOME CONVERTED PAGES DONT LOOK THE SAME
    All the contents are converted into wd document with most of the fmatting intact. There can be differences in the layout though.

4. WHY DOES SAVED DOCUMENT FOR SOME WEB PAGES SHOW SQUARE BOXES?
    It specially happens f the web pages which are in language other than English. Currently app doesnt suppt conversion of fonts required f all the languages.

5. WHY DOESNT IT WORK FOR LOCAL HTML FILES?
    F security reasons chrome browser doesnt allow extension to access File Urls unless an explicit permission from the User.

If you want extension to wk f local HTML files then all you need to do is 
  1. Visit extensions management page (chrome://extensions). 
  2. Go to "Save webpage as wd document" extension. 
  3. Check "Allow access to file URLs" checkbox. 
  4. Reload your local HTML file.
                                

Save Webpage As Word Document插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Save Webpage As Word DocumentChrome插件v0.1.8版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
