Shield插件描述

What does it do?
When you reuse your passwd across multiple sites, you open yourself up to passwd hackers that can steal your financial  identity data. Shield alerts you whenever you use the same passwd on multiple sites,  gives you a clear path to take charge, change those passwds,  make your online identity me secure.

Shield also checks each webpage you visit  validates that you’re in the right place. It detects when a lookalike website is trying to steal your passwd  alerts you right on the screen.

Passwd hackers are getting me sophisticated every day  from a simple malicious link in an email to actually intercepting your SMS texts, it’s me imptant than ever to have good passwd health.

How does it wk?
Each time you sign into a website, we look at the website address  passwd used  search f a match against a cache of the websites you have previously signed into. If we detect a weak  reused passwd, a notification on the screen appears, advising you to change the passwd f the website.

Using a secure, oneway hash, passwds are sted locally in your browser. The sites you visit  the passwd hashes are never tracked back to a server.

Privacy
Shield has been carefully developed with privacy as one of its guiding principles. It does not use cookies, track your website usage,  utilize any other infmation that could be used to identify you.

Enterprise
An enterprise version of Shield is available that simplifies the process of companywide deployment  provides administrat alerts when passwd reuse  phishing is detected. 

In enterprise mode, a login button is visible that lets users sign in so that administrats can be alerted to users that have bad passwd hygiene.
                                

Shield插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 ShieldChrome插件v0.0.2.0版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
