"Social Book Post Manager" helps you to delete your posts through the activity log, which include posts by you,  by other persons/apps. You may specify "Year", "Month", "Text Contains",  "Text Not Contains" filters f posts to delete. Plus the activity log filters provided by Facebook (TM), you have full control of which posts to delete,  which posts to keep. Recent new features:

1) Text filters suppt AND/OR conditions.
2) Prescan the activity log. You can then select exactly which individual entries that you want to delete/hide/unhide/unlike/change privacy settings.
3) Hide/unhide timeline items.
4) Unlike items.

ALL the features are FREE f you to use,  totally UNLIMITED. If you are satisfied, please leave me some feedback. Also please feel free to give me suggestion,  bug repts if any.

>>> The process is slow. It simulates your mouse click on delete button onebyone. This is the intentional limitation by Facebook (TM). There is no way to bypass it. <<<

>>> Any other Chrome extension may conflict with this extension. If its not wking, please follow the instruction to remove/disable other Chrome extensions temparily. Then restart Chrome  try again. <<<

>>> Use filter features as much as possible,  try limit the number of posts to be processed. The me data need to be processed, the me likely your browser  the Facebook (TM) server will fail to function properly. Its recommended to process one month at a time, unless you are sure there isnt many posts left to be processed.<<<

Notes: The scanning/deletion process takes a LONG time to finish, depending on number of posts involved. Because Facebook (TM) does not want the users to easily remove posts, they dont provide any function/API to delete multiple posts at a time. This extension can only filter/delete posts onebyone. There is no any known method to accelerate this process. Please be patient, sit back,  let the extension does its job. You may have a coffee,  better just let it run through a night.

Privacy  Infmation Security

1) This extension does not track  recd any user infmation. It does not use cookie  any other mechanism to recd users page visits.

2) This extension does not track  recd whether a user posts a review,  makes a donation. Whether you review/donate  not will not affect how it wks.

3) Because this extension does not ste anything anywhere, this app does not suppt features like autoretry, user preference, etc. This is designed on purpose. I believe user privacy is much me imptant than any features, particularly f this Chrome extension.

4) This extension uses Google Analytics API to log which features (delete/hide/unlike, etc.) are being used most by the users,  whether the process runs successfully. The log result is not associated, n linked with each individual user. The data is purely used by the auth to know which features are used most,  whether its wking properly. If you want to be optedout of this, you can install the Google Analytics Optout addon in https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

5) This extension is completely written in Javascript,  running completely within users Chrome browsers. All the source code can be viewed with Chrome Developer Tools. The code has been analyzed many times by many other developers. The extension has been used by nearly 200,000 users. If there is anything bad, it would have already been repted. You can feel absolutely safe to use it.

Instructions (with "Prescan" option checked):

1. Login to Facebook (TM), go to the Activity Log. Use activity filters to select a subset of posts to delete.
2. Click the extensions button to open the interface. 
3. If needed, choose "Year", "Month", "Text Contains"  "Text Not Contains" f posts that you want to delete.
4. Click the "Delete Post" button. The extension will scan through your Activity Log  mark all posts matching the conditions.
5. The prescan process may take a long time, depending on number of posts to be deleted.
6. After the prescan process finishes, there will be a Confirm button shown on top of the Facebook (TM) page. You may verify  uncheck certain posts as desired, then continue to actually delete the posts.
7. When done, the extension repts total number of posts deleted.

Notes:

1. In certain scenario, the extension may stop wking. Simply reload the Facebook (TM) page, reopen the extensions interface,  start the process again.
2. This extension does not retrieve  ste any Facebook (TM) login credential, n will it retrieve any other infmation from your Facebook (TM) account.
3. Deleted posts are not recoverable. Please carefully choose the Activity Log filter, the Year,  the Month f deletion. The auth shall not take any responsibility f any potential loss of infmation due to post deletion.
4. Ive thoughly tested the extension upon the Facebook (TM) Activity Log, in multiple language interfaces, including English, French, Chinese, etc. So far, it wks perfectly upon all language interfaces.
                                

Social Book Post Manager插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Social Book Post ManagerChrome插件v1.4.13版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
