What is Tipp?

Well heres something: People already watch your videos. Some of those people decide they really like one in particular, but the most they can do f you is just a click of the Like button. Why cant there be an opptunity to give me than just internet points? 

Introducing Tipp, the Chrome extension that benefits all content creats by enabling directfromaudience donations without the viewer ever having to leave the video page. Below are 3 reasons why you should install Tipp  create an account today:

1) Powered by the Stripe payment platfm, Tipp enables the crowdsourcing of supplemental income from those who appreciate your content the most, but who dont necessarily want to commit to a recurring donation model like Patreon. Whether a contribution is $1  $100, every bit matters from your audience especially if youre a smaller channel struggling to meet the new watchhour requirements f video monetization.

2) After creating an account, Tipp users will see a donation button on all video pages of channels whose owners have taken the additional step of connecting said channels, as well as a Stripe account, to their Tipp account. In der to enable donations on your own videos, simply log in with the extension  click the appropriate connect buttons within the Tipp dashboard,  youll be taken through a quick setup.

3) Have you ever watched a video  caught yourself feeling a sense of respect f the wk that went into making it? You might click the Like button, you might leave a comment, but in the end, its always on to the next one. Instead of watching this happen to you, let Tipp encourage that momentary sense of wanting to give to your wk by providing an opptunity to contribute something me.

All future connected Stripe accounts will be Stard accounts, due to the excessive fees imposed by Stripe on Express accounts. The implications of this will be unnoticeable to those who do not plan on accepting donations themselves. 
F those who do plan on doing so,  who currently do so: On one h, creating a Stripe account will be just a bit less smooth due to me infmation being required by Stripe upon sign up. On the other h, however, the fee that Tipp takes out to cover the high Stripe fees can now be lowered, which means me of the donation gets to your pocket.

 IMPORTANT THINGS 

(!) In der to match the fees  peraccount expenses Stripe charges Tipp f using their payment platfm, a small fee (2%) is taken from every transfer. This is me than I would like, but until Stripe offers alternate pricing options, it is the best I can do. 

(!) As I am just a college student wking on this project whenever I get a chance, if you would like to help out,  youve already downloaded Tipp yourself, let your favite YouTube channels know that they should download it, too! This can be easily accomplished by going to one of their videos, clicking the Tipp button,  then clicking the Leave a comment button (the typing is already done f you).

Tipp插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 TippChrome插件v0.1.4版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
