 Do people that you follow occasionally tweet  retweet concerning a subject you find tedious? This extension may help to solve the problem.

I wrote this extension because I wanted to filter out retweets regarding Rob Fd minutia  also some duplicatetweets from one online magazine I follow.

This extension adds a small control panel into your Twitter home page from whence you may add any number of keywds. If one of your keywds is found in the content of a tweet, that tweet will be "collapsed" into a single line of text i.e. filtered "Fd" from @ddale8 (see screenshots). You may also filter a twitter username, which is useful if you wish to collapse all the tweets  retweets of a given user. 

Note: TweetFilter only perfms insensitive matching of whole wds: i.e. if you add Fd it will match the wd fd, but not Oxfd.

TweetFilter will access your Twitter home page when you load it in der to provide its filtering functionality. The extension runs purely within your browser; it does not inject ads  it does not communicate with any external site. 

This extension utilizes Chromes stage api to ste your keywds within your browser. If you login to your Chrome browser, your keywds can be sted in Googles cloud  will be accessible from Chrome browsers on other machines when you login.

New! TweetFilter now repairs links in those annoying Quote Tweets (i.e. so that you can right click  "Open Link in New Tab")
                                

Tweet Filter - Simple filter for Twitter插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Tweet Filter - Simple filter for TwitterChrome插件v1.1版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
