Unbxd Analytics Validator插件描述

This extension can be used to validate Analytics integration on an eCommerce website using Unbxd f onsite search. The extension provides you with clear warning & err messages in  of missed events  improper parameters in the events sent to Unbxd. This helps you validate the Unbxd Search Analytics integration in a quick & efficient manner.

Install the extension. Click Start Testing button on your eCommerce page integrated with Unbxd Site Search. Validate that you are able to pass all the events successfully to Unbxd with the right set of parameters.

What does it validate?

We have currently classified analytics issues into following 2 broad categies:
1. Is analytics script included & required objects (like "UnbxdAnalyticsConf") initialised with crect values
2. Are relevant events fired crectly
 Are all events required f a particular page type fired (search  browse page along with recommendation widgets)  
 Are the events having all the required maty additional parameters (f example, "pid" must be sent f a click event)
 Are there any other additional parameters that can be sent in each event to improve analytics > these are shown as warning items
 Any me validation we can do based on events crelation (f example, is the same "pid" sent in an impression > click > cart > der flow)

Once the events are detected & a validation rept generated, the customer can download the rept so that they can take a look at it  send it over to us f further analysis  suppt in integration.

How to install & use the extension

1. Install the extension from the this page by clicking on "Add to Chrome" button
2. Go to any Unbxd customer website & open the developer tools. You will see "ValidateUnbxdAnalytics" as a tab in the developer tools, click on it
3. Select your page type (either Search  Categy Page) & check the "Recommendation widget" checkbox if you want to test f Recommendation widget events as well
4. Click on "Start Testing"
5. Proceed to play around with the customer website to generate Unbxd Analytics events. These will start showing up in the extensions UI.
6. Once you are done with perfming all actions to generate events, click on the "Stop" button. This will generate a rept which states any missing maty  good to have events.
7. You can also download a CSV rept of the same by clicking on the "Download CSV" button
                                

Unbxd Analytics Validator插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Unbxd Analytics ValidatorChrome插件v2.0.0版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
