URLocker插件描述

URLocker can be used to passwd protect a specific URL. 

Many times you have to willingly  unwillingly share your laptop with some friend. And your friend will have all the access to your logged in websites. This can be prevented
Unlocking persists among websites, i.e if you have unlocked a website, then all the other locked websites are also unlocked.

WkFlow:
Add Button: Adding a website to passwd protected list
1. Open the website which you want to passwd protect
2. Once the website loading is complete, open the extension menu by clicking the
extension icon on the browser
3. Click on the green “+” button in the menu
4. If you reload the website, you will be asked f the passwd if you have not entered the
passwd f any other website  if you have used lock­all option(explained later)
Remove Button: Removing a website from passwd protected list
1. Steps to remove a website are similar to adding except f the 3rd step, where instead of clicking the green “+” button, you need to click on the red “­” (minus) button
2. From now on, you will not be asked to enter the passwd f this website
Lock Button: Locking the passwd­protected website after successful login
1. After you have entered the crect passwd  successfully accessed the website, you can access all the websites which you have added to the passwd­protected list earlier
2. Click on the lock button to reset the lock the websites again
   
Change Passwd: To change the passwd
1. Enter the old passwd. The default passwd is “asdf” (without quotes)
2. Enter new passwd
3. Re­enter new passwd
4. Click on “change passwd” button. You will be shown a message f successful change
 if something went wrong

                                

URLocker插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 URLockerChrome插件v0.1版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
