Chrome extension f AEM developers.

A collection of tools  links to help the daily AEM developer wk a little faster. Its a wk in progress. Please feel free to provide feedback on my little side project.

Adobe Experience Manager aem versions 6.0, 6.1  6.2 +.
General Info


+ You can open links in the current Chrome tab simply by clicking on the links.
+ You can open the same links in a new Chrome tab by clicking on the external link icon that appears to the right of the link.
+ A green response means that the operation was successful.
+ A red response means that the operation failed.
+ A yellow response means that the operation was successful but no action was needed (i.e. there were no compiled clients to delete)

Info


Provide infmation on the user, Sling, Java,  the OS. This is dependent on two logins, AEM  Felix,  the infmation will only show if you are logged in.

Environments


Open the current page in any of your predefined environments. Click edit to add, remove,  update saved environments. Updates are immediately saved. + to add   to remove entries. Click Done to exit editing mode.

Click the icon next to the text to open the environment in a new browser tab.

Compare


Compare the current page to the same page in any environment. Toggle  showing only the difference  the entire node structure.

Impersonate


Impersonate users without having to go to the User Admin page. In addition, impersonating a user from this extension will simply reload the current page as that user. Click Revert to self to end impersonation. If your current account doesnt have permission to impersonate, the dropdown will be empty.

Clear Cache  Memy


Delete compiled clientlibs under the /var/clientlibs directy. Delete compiled JSP files under the /var/classes directy. Run the Garbage Collect without going to the Felix console.

Toggle UI


Toggle Content Finder on  off. If you are in a Touch UI view, you will be taken to the classic view with Content Finder. Toggling  Classic  Touch UIs wks in siteadmin/sites.html, publishingadmin/publications.html, damadmin/assets.html, welcome/projects.html,  nmal view/edit.html. Unexpected redirects may happen if you are on a page that doesnt have a Touch/Classic equivalent.

Todo:

+ Perfmance: extension starts too slow.
+ Remove jQuery from popup.js.
+ Chrome doesnt currently suppt HTML5 datalists in extensions, use when available.
+ Comparison should show redering of nodes.
+ Comparison should have view as well.
+ Setup dev process: Grunt, Bower, SASS/LESS, build/zip/version, minification, concatenation, etc...
+ Improve UI Toggle f pages that dont map  Touch  Classic.
+ Test in AEM versions below 6.
                                

AEM Developer插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 AEM DeveloperChrome插件v0.3.8版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
