Fake news  AI generated content are a massive problem as there usually is no quick way to fact check the content  source.
Fake news is usually founded in a real source of infmation but is distted to fit a narrative. With the neverending flow of infmation available on the internet, factchecking everything is near impossible f a single person to hle.
Even professionals like journalists that are paid to do their fact checking are usually incentive to produce a lot of content  therefe just relay infmation that seems to be crect without fact checking it first. There is simply no time to factcheck when you need to be the first one to break the news.

How to combat fake news?

There is no good centralized solution, sry. Here is why…
All infmation relayed from a person is always presented in a subjective way. Therefe repting becomes an interpretation of the events happening. There are always degrees of truthiness in the interpretation, but that is defined by the receiver of the infmation.

Of cause, it would be possible to recd everything, to get a full picture of context around the event  present this as infmation, but you still have the interpretation of the receiver. Recding everything is not efficient  is very timeconsuming, so we fall back to repting  subjective interpretation from the repter.

Big social platfms are trying hard to govern the infmation on their platfms, therefe they set up rules that are used to filter infmation. The problem is that the rules are objective  not subjective,  to comply with the laws of many counties in general, the rules usually ends up stricter than any one country laws.
So factchecking infmation befe relaying it is an interpretation of an intermediary that decides if the infmation is valid  not. This may not fit with the end receiver view of things.

Today most consumers of infmation have to rely on the good faith on the producer of infmation, as the time  efft to validate the infmation oneself is not wth the efft. This creates an environment where it is easy to produce infmation that heavily manipulated  very little factchecked befe it reaches the masses.

What is needed is a system that can immediately present the factchecking of infmation in a context accding to one’s subjective perspective. This requires a system that suppts the possibility of subjective trust in a peer to peer way, resulting in a web of trust netwk. This way, the only infmation that is trusted within one’s netwk will be relayed  flagged. This is similar to white listing intermediaries that we trust.

Anti Fake News插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Anti Fake NewsChrome插件v0.2.19.1108版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
