Are you frustrated sometimes with the builtin search engine of large content sites? Did you once get lost on the sites  didnt manage to find the topics you wanted to look f? Were you curious about how to look efficiently f articles  f certain topics on a news website?

This extension is a Chrome extension that dedicates to providing an easy  pleasant content search experience from your browser’s address bar. 

How does it wk?

1. Type @ in the address bar to activate the quick comms.
2. After @, add the domain name of the website that you want to look on
3. Type your query after a space, example: @techcrunch dualscreen
4. Press Enter  go to the result page.

Permissions used  reasons:

1. Access to “cookies” (optional). We require this permission to customize  modify your search engine as well as to keep autocomplete default suggestions. It’s optional because if you don’t allow permission to use cookies, we will not need it. Once after you grant permission to use cookies, you can always revoke it at any time.
2. Change your default search engine to our private domain search.searchsafe.tech powered by Yahoo. We require this permission to use our domain as a placeholder  to provide you the functionality in the autocomplete suggestions of your address bar. Inside this extension, we suppt Yahoo, Google,  Bing. You can switch to a different provider at any time inside the Settings section.

How to remove this extension?

If you want to remove our extension, go to “Settings” on Chrome,  find our extension in the “Extensions” tab. Click “remove”. Alternatively, you can rightclick on the extension’s icon on your browser  select “Uninstall” from the dropdown menu.

Content Site Search Guru插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Content Site Search GuruChrome插件v3.2.0版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
