Extensions插件描述

This is a simple extension that adds a shtcut to the browsers Extensions page. When installed it will add Extensions button to the toolbar. Click the icon  youll open the extensions tab.

There are two options available: you can set the button to open the extensions list in a new tab  in the current tab , if you want, you can add/remove the shtcut from the context menu.

If you want to have instant access to your extensions right from your toolbar this is the tool  fast, lightwight  efficient.


**Questions & Answers**

Why adding separate extension f something that needs only few clicks in the menu?
 Because with the extensions button in the toolbar you’ll do it in one click, which is much faster :)

But extensions eat system memy, isn’t it stupid to waste resources just f quick shtcut to the extensions page?
 This extension doesn’t “eat” memy. Technically, it uses nonpersistent background page, which means Chrome doesn’t need to reserve memy f the extensions (check the Chrome Task Manager to see f yourself: when you click on the extensions icon it will start the extension, open the extensions page  release the memy used seconds after that)

Why not just use a simple bookmark to the extensions page instead of installing separate extension?
 You could, but you’ll need me clicks to access the bookmark from the menu  you’ll need to have the bookmarks bar always visible. F people like me the bookmarks bar is not a good choice (it takes from the vertical space of the browser)  small toolbar icon is me convinient.

Is it easy to remove the extension if I don’t like it?
 Yes, you can remove it with literally two clicks (just rightclick on the extensions button  select “Remove from Chrome”)

How to access the options page?
 Rightclick on the extensions icon  select “Options”. 

How to open the extensions page in the current tab instead of opening new tab?
 Rightclick on the extension’s icon  select “Options”, then uncheck the first checkbox

How to add extensions shtcut to the context menu?
 Go to the options page (see above)  check the respective checkbox (“Add extensions button to context menu”)

How to change the extension’s icon?
 Currently you can’t, but in the next version (coming soon) we’ll add this functionality

Is it possible to add the extensions button to chrome apps page?
 Currently you can, but in future it will be possible only on Chrome OS devices. To do that just install our Extensions Button app (copy the link below  paste it in new tab):

Extensions插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 ExtensionsChrome插件v2.0.0.3版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
