Writing great fundraising copy, that’s meant to engage  excite its desired audience, can be tricky. That’s why we’ve developed the Fundraising Copy Checker to assist fundraisers with writing better copy. 

This extension f Google Chrome will help you to me easily check the copy that you want to use in your fundraising  engagement communications. By using the copy checker, you can feel me confident that what you’ve written will help you to further engage with your wider community. Whether you’re asking them to donate, respond to event invitations  to volunteer.  

It’s imptant to note that this copywriting extension is not yet a grammar  spelling checker (we’re wking on it). It does, however, check f the following:

How donled your copy is
How you use wds to convey enthusiasm, rather than punctuation
How y / complex sentences might be
Confusing  unnecessary wds
Adverbs  weakening phrases
Use of the passive voice

To get feedback on copy that’s already been published to the web, simply follow these instructions:

1. Install this extension.
2. Once installed, select the purple Hubbub avatar icon, located in the top righth cner of your Chrome browser window. This will activate the copy checker.
3. Highlight the text you want to check 
4. Rightclick on the highlighted text  select ‘Copy Check Selection’ from the menu
5. Use the suggestions on the lefth side of the Copy Checker to make adjustments to your copy.

Hubbub Fundraising Copy Checker插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Hubbub Fundraising Copy CheckerChrome插件v0.0.3版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
