Jira doesnt always help give a quick overview when viewing search results  boards.   Jira plugins can help but be expensive  even impossible on cloudhosted Jira.  This gets around both of these problems by using a (FREE!) Chrome extension to modify the page html after display to optional provide these changes:

  Efficient issue retrieval from jira to prevent dupicate requests  cahcing & queueing
  Widens the comment display area when viewing a Jira ticket  editing a comment.
  When viewing subtasks in search results, by default Jira shows just the parent Jira ticket number, with the parent description as a tooltip. This is reversed.
  When viewing search results, retrieves the logged wklog f each Jira ticket  adds it to the results display. Shows first 3 initially, click to show the rest.  This functionality is off by default since the timesheet is now implemented in search results.
  When viewing boards & search results, shows a "traffic light" indicating if the ticket is ready to start.  If its a subtask, this is down to whether the previous subtask of the parent is complete,  whether the parent itself is complete. A tooltip explains why the traffic light is the colour it is.  Also looks f "blocked" labels  "Dev blocked" status of ticket  parent.
  On boards, whilst the parent of a subtask is shown on a surrounding card, the Jira ticket number is not clickable to open the relevant Jira ticket.  This fixes that up.
  Timesheet.  On a search/filter results page, any wklogs f the displayed tickets are collected  presented at the bottom of the page by person  day (descending).
  *New in v0.7.9* : Annotate the small progress graphs with the text of time estimated/recded/remaining, instead of just being a (sometimes wks!) tooltip.

Each of the modifications can be turned on  off in the Extension options.  An additional option ("show fire") highlights each change made to the page with an ange dotted underline  outline to show what its doing.

All options other than wklog are on by default, but can be turned off in the extension options.

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Jira On Fire by KolossiChrome插件v0.7.9版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
