This DNA Agent extension f Chrome OS is f use with NetSuppt DNA (version 4.50  above), a single, lowcost solution delivering IT Asset Management, Classroom Instruction, Internet Safety  me – with dedicated versions available f schools  cpate enterprises. 

The extension suppts NetSuppt DNA’s ce desktop management capabilities. When launched within a Chrome Browser, it will interrogate the Chrome OS device to gather key system inventy details  monit online activity. The data collected is dynamically sent to your local NetSuppt DNA Server  is then available f repting within the NetSuppt DNA Management Console. 

Suppted Features:

Realtime Moniting  An Admin  Teacher via the Console can view a realtime summary of all Chrome OS devices. Selected devices can be viewed either in a detailed list view  via realtime thumbnails of each device screen.

Internet Metering  A summary of Internet activity via the extension is recded, including start  finish times f each URL visited  the active time spent on a page. 

Safeguarding Keywd Moniting (Education version) – This tool helps schools protect students from being exposed to inappropriate online content. It alerts staff when students type  search f any terms that match with those in the DNA keywd database, providing safeguarding  internet safety indicats f selfharm, bullying, radicalisation, Child Sexual exploitation   much me.

Safeguarding Rept a Concern (Education version)  Students can rept concerns directly  discreetly to nominated school staff.

Hardware Inventy  When the Chrome Browser is launched on a device, an inventy is dynamically sent to the NetSuppt DNA Server. 

Enterprise Alerting  Realtime alerts enable Console operats to immediately identify any user who has triggered a Safeguarding keywd.

Activity  Console operats can see a chronological view of device activity f a selected time period, including triggered Safeguarding phrases.

Installation of the NetSuppt DNA Agent Extension should be centrally managed via the Google Admin Console. This allows the extension to be fceinstalled on Chrome OS devices  set to connect to the required DNA Server location.

NetSupport DNA Agent插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 NetSupport DNA AgentChrome插件v1.5.4版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
