Selection Context Search插件描述

Summary:
  Right click on a selected text  choose the search website from the popup window  the context menu
  The website list is edited in the Extension Options page. The list can include bookmark folders.
  Unlimited depth of nested folders in the context menu

  The extension can do advanced searches such as: reverse image search, page translation  current domain search


The search websites can be added by using three methods:

1. Go to the search page, rightclick on the field where you type the search keywds  choose "Add search page" from the context menu.

2. Search websites can be added manually in the Extension Options page. By default the selected text is appended to the website address. Optionally, a placeholder can be used to specify where in the address to insert the selected text.

3. Search websites can also be added by using a folder named "Search" from the Chrome Bookmarks bar. To use this method:
  Create a folder named "Search" in Chrome Bookmarks bar
  Go to the search website you want to add  right click on the field where you type the text you want to search
  A context menu will be displayed then choose "Add a Keywd f this Search..."
  A window will be displayed then choose to save the bookmark in the "Search" folder then choose a unique keywd
  Optionally the bookmark can be created in subfolders of "Search" folder

Both lists are combined  shown in the context menu when right click on a selected text. The Options page list is shown first, then the Bookmarks list.

The search page can open in: a new tab, a background tab, the current tab  in a new window.

                                

Selection Context Search插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 Selection Context SearchChrome插件v5.18版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
