WebRTC Protect插件描述

Protect against WebRTC leakage of public  private IP addresses using this toggleable extension. This extension configures how WebRTCs netwk traffic is routed by altering the browsers privacy settings.

By default, WebRTC is blocked  your browser will not be able to use it. However, using the toolbar button you can tempary enable WebRTC access. Even when disabling the extension from the toolbar button, still your private address is protected.

Note: As of version 0.1.2, the extension returns an empty array when "WebRTC Media Device Enumeration API" is called. You can disable this action by disabling the extension from the toolbar button  permanently disable it from the options page.

Features:
1. Configures WebRTC to not use certain IP addresses  protocols:
2. Hide private IP addresses (e.g. addresses like 192.168.1.2)  to the public internet 
3. Hide public IP addresses (e.g. an ISP address of the VPN) associated with netwk interfaces
4. Require WebRTC traffic to go through  servers. If UDP is not suppted, nonproxied UDP traffic is turned off.

Make sure to test using the following web page after altering the WebRTC setting to make sure your IP address is not leaking:

Note: Since when this extension is enabled, the potential netwk paths  protocols used by WebRTC is limited,  the extension might affect the perfmance of websites that use WebRTC f audio/video  realtime data communication. You can turn the extension off from the toolbar button to improve the perfmance while using the WebRTC.
                                

WebRTC Protect插件离线安装方法

1.首先用户点击谷歌浏览器右上角的自定义及控制按钮，在下拉框中选择设置。

2.在打开的谷歌浏览器的扩展管理器最左侧选择扩展程序或直接输入：chrome://extensions/

3.找到自己已经下载好的Chrome离线安装文件xxx.crx，然后将其从资源管理器中拖动到Chrome的扩展管理界面中，这时候用户会发现在扩展管理器的中央部分中会多出一个”拖动以安装“的插件按钮。

4.下载 WebRTC ProtectChrome插件v0.2.1版本到本地。

5.勾选开发者模式，点击加载已解压的扩展程序，将文件夹选择即可安装插件。

注意：最新版本的chrome浏览器直接拖放安装时会出现“程序包无效CRX-HEADER-INVALID”的报错信息，参照这篇文章即可解决
